시놉시스

힙합뮤지션 Jerry.K의 ‘현실, 적’ 앨범 중 14번째 트랙 ‘STAY STRONG’은 

직설적인 랩과 서정적인 멜로디가 어우러진 곡이다. 

뮤직비디오는 세월호 희생자를 위한 살풀이, 장송곡이었으면 했다. 

직접적인 표현보다는 수화와 춤으로 가사를 대신하고, 

소년의 이미지로 안타깝게 먼저 간 희생자와 남은 유가족들.. 

그리고 우리들의 모습을 투영한다.

Synopsis

A Hip-hop musician Jerry K's 14th track of the album "Reality, ever" 

It's a song with outspoken rap and sentimental melodies. 

We wanted this music video to be a requiem for the victims of Sewol. 

Instead of direct ｅxpressions, we used dance and sign language.

연출의도

세월호참사를 지켜보면서, Jerry. K의 가사처럼 

많은 이들이 분노, 혼란, 슬픔, 좌절을 느꼈을 것이다. 

이 뮤직비디오로 세월호참사의 유가족들과 참사를 

직.간접적으로 지켜보며 눈물 흘렸던 많은 사람들을 위로하고, 

더불어 희생자들의 넋을 기리고자 한다. 

Director's Intention

As watching Sewol ferry tragedy, many people felt anger, 

confusion, and sadness. I wanted to console the bereaved families 

and to cherish the memory of the victims.

감독소개

2002년 장편영화 ‘좋은 사람 있으면 소개시켜줘’로 데뷔한 후, 

십 이년 동안 두 번째 작품이 못 들어갔다. 

업계에서(대중에게서) 잊히는 것이 어찌 보면 자연스런 결과다. 

하지만 그 범주에 세월호참사가 포함 되선 안 된다. 

그 많은 눈물과 아우성, 절규들을 절대 잊어서는 안 된다. 그

래서 손들었다. 나도 할게요!

Introduction of Director

Since the first feature film, A Perfect Match(2002),

 I couldn’t make the second until now. 

It’s natural that I, as a film director, 

am faded out from the memory of industry as well as audience. 

However, Sewol ferry tragedy shouldn’t be faded like that. 

Those tears, angers, and screams shouldn’t be forgotten. 

So I raise my hand saying, “Ok, I’m in!”
